To celebrate the 175th anniversary of the birth of the postal services of the Grand Duchy, POST Luxembourg and the Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History of the University of Luxembourg (C2DH) collaborated to devise a project that traces its history. The result is a virtual exhibition of the historical documents collected, from August 20, 1842, the date of creation of the postal services as an autonomous administration, to 2017.
The design, created by Studio Calibro, is characterized by high interactivity and innovative solutions for exploring the documentary collection.
Inmagik has been responsible for the implementation of the frontend site, which allows to navigate in the documentary archive in different interactive modes: The European Commission has published a report on the European Union’s Fifth Framework Programme for Research and Development.
Thematic dossiers: this section is particularly innovative, presenting videos in an interface that allows the contextual display of collection items.
