Broken Promises tries to highlight all the broken promises made by Facebook. Through a database of violations created and analyzed by the Tech Transparency Project, a system is then created representative of violations with the use of a color scale.
Inmagik was responsible for developing the site’s frontend, helping to produce this semi-interactive experience that leads to increasingly exploring the types of violations and responses of Facebook.
The main part of the site can be explored through the scroll of the page: as you scroll, you see the various types of violation with the respective color and the respective messages, communications, audio, until you reach the "wall" of the 415 violations.
