Memoryscapes is the first platform dedicated to the rediscovery of Italian private heritage in reduced format, and is the result of a long research, selection and digitization of films shot between 1920 and 1980. This heritage is largely preserved by Home Movies in its National Archive of Family Film.
Memoryscapes allows you to search in a simple and targeted way among all these memories, to discover the transformations and social changes, landscape and everyday life of the Italian people of the twentieth century.
Inmagik took care of the implementation of the platform, starting from the creation of the database, accompanied by the backoffice, from which you can easily load all the videos, and the frontend, which aims to optimize the media to make the most fluid viewing of the many videos on the platform.
Archive: is the main section of the site, which allows a quick and intuitive search through keywords, authors, cities, periods and more.
Map: another way to navigate the archive section is to use the map, which has the same filters as the list but allows you to explore by selecting a place, still having a preview of the clip you want to see.
