Prospecting an in-Between

“Eastern Belgium 1920-2020” is a virtual exhibition on the history of the Eupen-Malmedy-Sankt Vith region. The site, conceived by C2DH and designed by studio Calibro, investigates the complexity of the history of the area by returning a digital experience structured on 3 levels.

• Contour, an interactive documentary that explains to the public the history of Eastern Belgium from the modern age to the present day.
• Perspectives, a collection of different points of view from the last 100 years in which thematic questions lead back to a presentation rich in original resources.
• Explorations, a collection of interactive sources that the visitor can freely investigate.

Our role was to develop and implement the site using Javascript and React.
